Kendall Jenner Admits Keeping Up With the Kardashians Is 'Sad'

Added: 24.04.2017 13:30 | 35 views | 0 comments

Kendall Jenner thinks 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' is "sad".
The 21-year-old model and her family members have become worldwide stars because of their appearances on the show, but Kendall has confessed that it's a "depressing" scenario.
Speaking on the program, Kendall said: "The fact that everyone's lives revolve around a show and to make someone happy with a show is the most sad depressing thing."
Kendall's sentiment was echoed by her half-sister Khloe Kardashian, who admitted that not everyone in the family is supportive of the program.
She shared: "We all don't think that it's a good idea that they film this show."
Meanwhile, Kendall is reported to have been "absolutely heartbroken" by the response to her controversial Pepsi ad earlier this month.
The reality TV star was left devastated after some members of the general public slammed the commercial for undermining the Black Lives Matter movement.
A source said: "Kendall is absolutely heartbroken by how everything has turned out, she had no idea it would end up like this.
"She's taking time out from the limelight to come to terms with everything. It's very upsetting for her, she never meant for any of this to happen."
Another source admitted it was a mistake to hire Kendall for the ad.
The insider said: "This is the first controversial campaign she has been involved with. Even though she had nothing to do with the production and the message of the campaign, she will be blamed for this since she is the face.
"The original intent of the commercial was to mirror all the global protests trying to make this world a more equal place for everyone. But they shouldn't have had a celebrity face tied to it if they wanted to try and send a strong message like this."

Kendall Jenner and A$AP Rocky 'All Over Each Other' at Coachella

Added: 17.04.2017 12:40 | 39 views | 0 comments

Kendall Jenner and A$AP Rocky were reportedly "all over each other" at a Coachella party over the weekend.
The 21-year-old model and the rapper have been rumoured to be dating since August last year, and their relationship has been going from strength to strength as they were reportedly seen getting close when the brunette beauty supported her beau as he performed at the #WeedMapsOasis party at the three-day festival in California.
An onlooker told People magazine: "Kendall showed up with a posse just for him and they were all over each other."
Whilst another source told the publication: "Kendall started rapping to A$AP's song 'F***in' Problems,' and A$AP was laughing at her. She took the big Gucci goggles he was wearing off his head, put them on and started dancing."
The news comes after it was reported the pair also made "no secret" of their romance earlier this month whilst watching The Who perform at London's Royal Albert Hall.
A source said at the time: "Kendall and A$AP Rocky went to the Royal Albert Hall and made no secret of the fact they are a couple. There was a lot of touching going on. It wasn't the behaviour of two people who are just friends. Kendall seems very into him."
And the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is thought to have asked the 'L$D' hitmaker - whose real name is Rakim Mayers - to temporarily move in with her after having her home robbed last month.
A source said: "Kendall's anxiety has gone through the roof since the robbery and she feels she doesn't know who she can trust.
"It's put new pressure on her fledgling relationship with Rakim, who she's been leaning on heavily for support.
"She's even suggested he move into her house temporarily because she's scared to be there alone at night.
"Friends are worried they might be moving too fast.
"They've been seeing each other for nine months but it's been very hot and cold."

Alec Baldwin Defends Kendall Jenner

Added: 14.04.2017 15:10 | 50 views | 0 comments

Alec Baldwin has defended Kendall Jenner over her controversial Pepsi commercial.
Kendall, 21, is said to be devastated after the ad was slammed for undermining the Black Lives Matter movement and Alec, who has known Kendall since she went to school with his daughter Ireland Baldwin, took to Twitter to insist the debacle was not Kendall's fault.
He tweeted: "Don't blame @KendallJenner for that spot. Kendall is still a very young, inexperienced woman in an awful business. Blame her management.
"I remember when my daughter Ireland and Kendall were little kids in school. I think it's unfair to rake these younger ppl over the coals.
"The US is such a sadistically shame-based, blame-centered culture... (sic)."
Kendall has been laying low amid the backlash and is said to have been upset by how it was received.
An insider said recently: "This is the first controversial campaign she has been involved with.
Pepsi defended the advert at first, saying it carries an "important message".
In a statement, the company said: "This is a global ad that reflects people from different walks of life coming together in a spirit of harmony, and we think that's an important message to convey."
However, as the controversy failed to fade, Pepsi pulled the advert and released a statement admitting the firm "missed the mark" with the campaign's message.
The statement read: "Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position."

Added: 13.04.2017 16:30 | 35 views | 0 comments

Kendall Jenner is to return to the spotlight at Coachella following the controversy surrounding her Pepsi advert.
The 21-year-old model found herself at the center of a worldwide debate earlier this month when she starred in a commercial that was slammed for undermining the Black Lives Matter movement.
The brunette beauty has subsequently steered clear of the spotlight after Pepsi withdrew the advert and apologised for any offence it may have caused.
But this weekend, Kendall is set to host a party for the Bumble dating app in Rancho Mirage, with the company creating its very own winter wonderland with real ice and snow in the Colorado Desert.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star will also guest DJ at an event for 1 OAK, according to TMZ, which says her younger sister Kylie will attend both events, too.
Meanwhile, Kendall was reported to have been "devastated" by the controversy surrounding her Pepsi advert.
The model feared the situation could have tarnished her reputation forever, even though she was not involved with the message behind the commercial.
A source said: "This is the first controversial campaign she has been involved with.
"Even though she had nothing to do with the production and the message of the campaign, she will be blamed for this since she is the face."
The insider also acknowledged that the drinks company had made a mistake in hiring the dark-haired beauty in the first place.
The source explained: "The original intent of the commercial was to mirror all the global protests trying to make this world a more equal place for everyone.
"But they shouldn't have had a celebrity face tied to it if they wanted to try and send a strong message like this."

Kendall Jenner 'Devastated' by Pepsi Ad Controversy

Added: 06.04.2017 15:30 | 33 views | 0 comments

Kendall Jenner is reportedly "devastated" by the controversy surrounding her Pepsi advert.
The 21-year-old model plays a central role in the drinks company's
'Jump In' promotional film, but Pepsi has already decided to scrap the campaign after it received a wave of criticism for supposedly trivialising the Black Lives Matter movement.
A source said: "This is the first controversial campaign she has been involved with.
"Even though she had nothing to do with the production and the message of the campaign, she will be blamed for this since she is the face."
However, Kendall is expected to be able to recover from the controversy, with a source close to the dark-haired beauty insisting it has not done irreversible damage to her reputation.
The insider told ET Online: "This is not a career breaker for her."
In the short film, Kendall skips out of a photoshoot to join a throng of young campaigners waving placards with slogans such as 'Join the Conversation', before she approaches a surly-looking police officer and hands him a Pepsi can as a sign of peace.
In response to the criticism, Pepsi has pulled the advert and has released a statement admitting the firm "missed the mark" with the campaign's message.
The statement reads: "Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position."
Meanwhile, the insider also acknowledged Pepsi had made a mistake in hiring Kendall for the role.
The source explained: "The original intent of the commercial was to mirror all the global protests trying to make this world a more equal place for everyone.
"But they shouldn't have had a celebrity face tied to it if they wanted to try and send a strong message like this."

Pepsi Defends Controversial Kendall Jenner Commercial

Added: 05.04.2017 19:50 | 32 views | 0 comments

Pepsi has defended a controversial advert starring Kendall Jenner.
The 21-year-old model stars in the drinks company's 'Jump In' promotional film, which has been accused of co-opting the Black Lives Matter campaign by some social media users.
In the short film, Kendall skips out of a photoshoot to join a protest alongside placard-waving campaigners, before she offers a can of Pepsi to one of the surly-looking police officers as a sign of peace.
The commercial has been accused of trivialising a serious issue by some of its online critics, but Pepsi has defended the advert, saying it carries an "important message".
In a statement to E! News, the company said: "This is a global ad that reflects people from different walks of life coming together in a spirit of harmony, and we think that's an important message to convey."
Kendall joined Pepsi Max's Live For Now moments campaign earlier this week, with the American model saying the brand reflected her eagerness to embrace every moment in life.
She said: "I am thrilled to join the legendary roster of icons who have represented their generations and worked with Pepsi.
"To me, Pepsi is more than just a beverage - it registers as a pop culture icon and a lifestyle that shares a voice with the generation of today."
Kendall claimed she was excited to appear in the campaign because it chimed with her own outlook.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star explained: "The spirit of Pepsi - living in the 'now' moment- is one that I believe in. I make a conscious effort in my everyday life and travels to enjoy every experience of today."
The short film also features music from Jamaican singer-songwriter Skip Marley, who released his debut single 'Lions' in February 2017.
Skip - whose single appears on the moments advert - said: "Standing together and being unified in the moment is a powerful experience.
"This song 'Lions' that Pepsi selected for the 'Moments' ad should remind our generation to look at the way you are living and find strength and calm in each moment."
