Javier Bardem Says Johnny Depp is a 'Gentleman'

Added: 02.05.2017 19:20 | 16 views | 0 comments

Javier Bardem thinks Johnny Depp is a "gentleman".
The 48-year-old actor stars alongside Johnny in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' and Javier has admitted that during their time together on set, he grew very fond of Johnny, whose divorce from actress Amber Heard in 2016 came amid claims of domestic abuse.
Javier said: "With Johnny you can tell there is a very sensitive person there, a man who cares about people.
"That hasn't changed. Then there is the world outside the film studio, and I won't comment on these things because I don't know anything about them. But the Johnny I know is a gentleman."
The Academy Award-winning star observed that Johnny is extremely funny, as well as being a brilliant actor.
He told GQ magazine: "An exemplary actor with a sense of comedic timing quite like no other. He's f***ing hilarious!"
Johnny and Amber admitted in a joint statement after they agreed a £7 million settlement in their divorce case that their relationship had been "volatile".
The former couple split in May 2016 after 15 months of marriage and the actress subsequently accused her estranged husband of being abusive towards her.
Johnny denied the allegations made against him, but he did acknowledge their relationship was intense.
In a joint statement, the celebrity duo said: "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity."

Added: 02.05.2017 14:30 | 71 views | 0 comments

Kylie Jenner broke the Met Gala's social media ban to post a celebrity-filled selfie at the annual fundraiser.
The 19-year-old TV star ignored the wishes of the organisers of the annual bash at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (01.05.17) to take a bathroom selfie alongside a host of well-known faces, including her sister Kendall, half-sister Kim Kardashian West, ASAP Rocky, P. Diddy and Paris Jackson.
Kylie posted the image on her Instagram account and it has already been 'liked' more than two million times by her followers.
onfirmed Kylie had realised her ambition of taking at least one selfie at the event in New York, even though guests were explicitly asked not to post pictures on social media.
Earlier in the evening, Kylie said: "I'll sneak a selfie, I always sneak a selfie."
Despite this, Kylie previously admitted that her social media accounts aren't necessarily a true reflection of her real-life self.
Speaking in 2016, the reality star explained: "I usually don't show my true personality to the world, because when you open yourself up so much, there's more room for people to say things about you."
Kylie explained that her public image is carefully orchestrated, admitting she doesn't want to reveal her true self to her followers.
She said: "This is where #WhoIsKylieJenner comes into play. I don't really say who Kylie Jenner is, you know what I mean?"
Kylie revealed, too, that a lot of thought goes into her Snapchat posts.
She shared: "I always like to give people what they want to see. It's not that I necessarily [want] to post all of my cars today. It's that I know people want to see that and live their life through ours."

Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton have been forced to scrap plans to stage a Spice Girls talent show.
The celebrity trio had planned to give fans of the record-breaking girl group the opportunity to join them on stage as they made their much-anticipated return to the spotlight, but the plans have been blocked by former bandmates Victoria Beckham and Mel C, who reportedly feared it would "damage the Spice Girls brand".
A source explained: "While fans would have preferred to see all five on stage again, the chance to become a Spice Girl was definitely the next best thing.
"Unfortunately, that won't be happening now. Neither Victoria nor Mel C were on board with the idea and faced with an 'us and them' situation, it was dropped.
