Ariel Winter Hits Back at Instagram Trolls

Added: 26.04.2017 13:50 | 19 views | 0 comments

Ariel Winter has advised her critics on Instagram to unfollow her.
The 19-year-old actress, who is best known for playing Alex Dunphy on 'Modern Family', often posts eye-catching pictures of herself on the photo-sharing website - and Alex has told people who do not like her provocative snaps to hit the unfollow button.
She said: "If people don't like it, unfollow me. If you're so offended, why do you look at it? Don't take the time to hate on me. Just unfollow me and follow someone who covers every part of their body to their toes. I don't care."
Alex also claimed there is a double standard between men and women on Instagram.
She told Yahoo Style: "I feel like people put so much emphasis on it. Guys, all the time, go on their Instagrams and take pictures nude with guitars in front of their stuff. No one says anything. Nobody cares.
"When we try to be free and post what we want, it's like, look at that slut on social media. That's not what it is. We're proud of our bodies. We're proud of who we are. We're made the way we are. Why do we care? If I take a picture and I think it looks good - if it's a little revealing, whatever."
And while some celebrities have admitted to becoming addicted to Instagram, Alex insisted she keeps its importance in proper proportion.
The actress explained: "Just don't open it for a few days. Just leave it be. Sometimes I'll go days or weeks without posting. I try to update my followers on what I'm doing.
"It makes me feel closer to them. I've never felt the need to take a break from it like that. Just put your phone down and enjoy the things in life."

Chelsea Handler: 'Jennifer Aniston Not Interested in Brad and Angelina Split'

Added: 03.04.2017 15:30 | 24 views | 0 comments

Chelsea Handler insists Jennifer Aniston has no interest in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's break-up.
Jennifer's former husband Brad split from his wife Angelina - with whom he has six children - in September and Chelsea, who is a good friend of Jennifer's, thinks it is crazy that people believe Jennifer cares.
She told YOU magazine: "I don't think Jen cares about what's going on and it's crazy that people think she does. As if she's sitting around caring about [Angelina Jolie]. I know I don't."
After Angelina filed for divorce from Brad, 52, in September, Chelsea lashed out at the star, calling her a lunatic.
She said: "There are reports that part of the problem was Brad was allegedly drinking and smoking too much weed. I wonder why he needed to self-medicate. Maybe because he could have been spending the last 12 years at Lake Como hanging out with George Clooney and Matt Damon, instead of being stuck in a house with 85 kids speaking 15 different languages?
"Oh yeah, because he married a lunatic, that's why!"
And when asked about her comments, she said: "I just say what most people are thinking."
Meanwhile, Chelsea, 42 - who has interviewed a number of celebrities on both her E! show 'Chelsea Lately' and Netflix's 'Chelsea' - hit out at Russell Brand but had kind words for some other British celebrities.
She said: "Russell Brand was a huge pain in the ass but I'd love to interview Hugh Laurie. He'd be great. The British have a very dry sense of humour, which I love. I always feel like I'm British anyway.
"I'm interested in people who have opinions and aren't afraid to express them. So if someone says: 'I don't want to talk about my husband or my kids' then forget it, because that's your life. On my [E!] show, I interviewed a lot of reality stars and I'd always drift off, thinking about what I was going to eat later because they were so uninteresting. But I like Brits - I interviewed Tom Hiddleston and he was very sweet and very square. We're going to England soon, so hopefully we'll do something on the set of 'The Crown' - it would be very exciting to interview Claire Foy."

Demi Lovato Laughs Off Photo Hack

Added: 22.03.2017 17:20 | 34 views | 0 comments

Demi Lovato has laughed off her photo hack - insisting she doesn't care if the world sees a cleavage pic of her.
The 'Really Don't Care' hitmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday (03.21.17) to address reports that private photos of her naked have been accessed and leaked.
While she has seemingly confirmed the hack took place, the 'Heart Attack' singer insists the pics are far from racy.
Taking to the micro-blogging site, she wrote: "I love how everyone's freaking out about one picture. It's not nude and it's just cleavage (sic)"
The 24-year-old pop beauty - who is dating MMA fighter Guilherme 'Bomba' Vasconcelos - also joked about how there are already images of her showing off her ample assets widely available to the public including a previous shoot for Vanity Fair magazine.
She added in another tweet: "Besides the world has seen me nude BY CHOICE before.. #vanityfair #nicetry #cleavagegameonpoint #myboobsarenteventhatbig #angles. (sic)"
According to various reports, Demi was seen posing on a bed in an unzipped hooded top in the shot.
However, it's not the first time the brunette beauty has been caught up in a photo hack.
In 2013, pictures surfaced of her in bed with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, which were reportedly meant to only be shared with her partner.
At the time, the hacker told RadarOnline: "These are Demi. The collection I have show some nude, including face, some including parts of the body Demi is known for - tattoos, butt, chin.
"Then, I have pictures of her getting rowdy ... I can guarantee you these photos are legitimately of Demi."
Demi joins a long list of celebrities who have been targeted by online bullies including most recently 'Beauty and the Beast' star Emma Watson, Mischa Barton and Amanda Seyfried.

1 Plastic Surgeon Admitted: "If a Person Is Unhappy or Negative, Surgery Won't Fix That"

Added: 03.03.2017 18:25 | 51 views | 0 comments

In a world where we're surrounded by face-smoothing photo-editing apps and flawless celebrity photos, it's almost impossible not to wonder if you should take the plunge and go under the knife as well. , a double board-certified plastic surgeon in Atlanta, just spilled all the information you've secretly been googling about cosmetic procedures in a .
Dr. Stong said he has "performed thousands of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries and procedures on the face, head, and neck." During the AMA, he touched on skin-tightening procedures, the future of surgery, and, of course, Botox. Keep reading to learn more about the world of cosmetic surgery. What's the Secret to Looking Young?
One woman — who can afford relatively pricey treatments — asked him the secret to keeping her youthful glow. "Well, Botox, no downtime lasers, microneedling, and skin care are the best starting points because they effect permanent changes over time to the skin and can delay the need for more aggressive procedures later in life," Dr. Stong said. "Fillers can be added to change the shape of features such as the lips and cheeks, although they do not provide protective long term benefits to the skins. Over the counter products from department stores are largely useless and a waste of your money."

, but what age does he suggest starting Botox? "I don't judge whatsoever, but I do also tell patients that one can legally sign consent for Botox at 18 years old," he noted. "If we were able to perform a split study on the face, with one half getting Botox and the other not, we would see significant differences over decades. So, in short, the earlier the better." Do Skin-Tightening Procedures Really Work?
When one user asked Dr. Stong which procedure he does that "isn't really worth doing," he had one answer: skin tightening. "Most skin tightening devices don't work well," he said. "A few out there are worth while. I'm looking at adding a fat reduction device and skin tightening. . . it's just such an evolving field. There are basically two types [of skin-tightening procedures]: Radio frequency (RF) and Ultrasound (Ulthera). I am looking at microneedling RF devices to do no downtime face and neck lifts."
What Happens When It's an Issue of Self-Esteem?
Maybe it's the pressure from social media to look a certain way, or maybe it's that celebrities have access to treatments that us regular folk don't, but how does Dr. Stong know when a patient actually needs surgery or it is an issue of self-esteem? "Well, I tell patients all the time that they should only choose cosmetic procedures for themselves and absolutely no one else," he explained. "I also have come to believe that the patients frame of mind prior to surgery correlates to recovery. My patients that have sailed through recovery were generally very positive, well adjusted people. If a person is unhappy or negative, surgery won't fix that and it certainly seems to make for a harder recovery for the individual."
Dr. Stong added: "In general, I am a technician. If I believe the issue can be fixed, I will offer the procedure. I certainly have no interest in being a psychiatrist with a knife." What Will the Future Bring?
With all the mind-blowing advancements going on in technology and more specifically in the medical world, one user wanted to know which treatment Dr. Stong was most excited about, and as a facial plastic surgeon, it makes perfect sense. "Stem Cells to regrow hair," he said. "I generally think stem cells would be very beneficial to many disciplines in medicine if we had better access to high quality stem cells."
